You made my day!

It was Thaipusam, there was barely any cars around Pusat Bandar Damansara. It was usually quiet here. Unlike the busy days, where we barely noticed the person sharing the same lift with you or sitting next to you in the bus, people happen to stop and look awhile their surroundings. It was the day where most people have no classes to rush to, no assignments to pass up. Ok, perhaps I has exaggerated that holiday, but the point is, that Thursday, was like to other Thursdays...

Since it was Thursday, while everyone (well, most) girls at my floor were still asleep, I was busy peeling potatoes and cutting pita bread. Why so irony? It was because I'd had another agenda for the day. I was going for a potluck-picnic with the monkeys! (Haha... SHould have made some bananas then.)Yenny did some marcoroni cheese and salad. While I made the hearty potato salad and pita bread. But mine has alot of leftover. Know why? Ok. Keep quiet!

Around 4pm we all left in Alden's Waja to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. It was located not far from Help Residence. We did have a enjoyable ride and sung lots of pop songs over the radio. Once reached there, we spotted a shady place near the lake we built our nest there. I would say, it wasn't a very private place, since we're actually we're picnicking next to the lake and the jogging track. Trust me, we're just so lazy to walk further for a better spot (if there's one), so we joked over how our 'beautiful place' gonna end up become some jogger's pit stop for some pita bread/kfc.

After that, we went for some crazy shots around that place. We posed, we squatted and we jumped. But guess what, those people there are too tired (of jogging) to care about us. Hah! I did experiment some shots with Yenny and Elizabeth. Luckily they were patient with this amateur photographer who ask them to hold their pose while she fiddles with functions. Nevertheless, I did manage to get some awesome shots.

Girl power!

Meet our stunt man, Alden

We did gather later on and managed to sing some songs. But then, it RAINED. So sucky. It supposed to be the moment you get so hyped up and start jamming. Then, it rained.
But that didn't stop our spirit. We walked another 1km to a shelter and continue to sing admist the darkness. Looks a little creepy here but think back it's a little funny.

p/s: So looking forward tmr's MACC - promise to blog about it soon Night.
